Trying to Impress Crowds That Are Fickle

Thursday, January 26th, 2012

If you are in a band you should look into CD replication. A lot of small bands that are up and coming will waste their time by doing it on their own. The problem with this is that it costs a lot more than if you just got them replicated. You can also have cool graphics on the disc that will help to present the image that you are going for. I mean, in some cases you might want a hand crafted look, but that is only going to fly if you are trying to impress the hipster crowd, and they are so fickle that it’s not even worth it. There are plenty of bands out there that would benefit from the services of a replication company, but they never even look into it. Don’t make the same mistake that so many others have. Save yourself the time and hassle of doing it on your own.

Saturday, December 17th, 2011

Fans are eager for the release of Viennie V’s “For You” music video. Luckily, the pop singer’s official site gave fans a sneak peak of the For You music video, showing behind-the-scenes clips and rare interviews with the director and Viennie V herself. The sneak peak gives hints at a retro game show that Viennie V seems to be a contestant in and of a rooftop scene where the starlet finds love. Since the release of her sensational “Thinking of You” music video, which earned more than one million hits on the popular YouTube channel, Viennie V has quickly become Los Angeles’ hottest new pop star. It seems that only big things are ahead for Viennie V and fans couldn’t be more delighted. The artist represents a strong figure for young girls and for Asian American women as well. She’s a force to be reckoned with, so keep a lookout for this rising star.

Playing Rock Guitar Like a Pro

Monday, December 5th, 2011

It is not that difficult to play guitar well. To start out you simply learn the chords. You will start looking at the fretboard and have no idea how to play.

That is why you need to learn about the fretboard. It is great to learn the chords to learn how to play guitar. But I would also watch a really good guitar player play. Observe the notes he plays during solos or songs. I would recommend going on Youtube or if you know someone who plays well you can take lessons from them.

Just observing a guitar player go up and down the fretboard is a great learning experience. This is what some of the best guitar players have done. Start with the basic chords and then start learning some guitar songs to get your hands used to playing. It will take a while for your hands to toughen up.

My Favorite Music Video is So Cool

Monday, October 31st, 2011

My favorite music video is Gotta Be You One Direction. It has great lighting and sounds like stellar and wicked cool music. It is by a band I like called One Direction. I am really rather fond of them. One direction is suave, and awesome. I believe they make excellent use of character, emotion and theme to really help you feel the songwriters intent, in both the song and the video. The empathy and power of the situation really come through. I cannot get enough of listening to this video. I listen to it whenever I go to the bathroom on my ipod, because it is so good. You should check it out online it is not too long and really easy on the ears and you will not regret it I know this is true because I do not regret it so listen and have fun! God bless and amen!

Making the Crowd Love You when You Play Guitar

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

There are very few things that feel as good as sitting in front of a large group of people and rocking out to your guitar. It is so awesome to see the reaction that people have when they hear you play the guitar. Especially when you are playing a riff or your playing the lead people really get into it especially if you are good at what you do. Also if you are able to add some nice effects to your guitar playing wow that completely and totally changes everything there is nothing that told a crowd in then hearing a few effects while you are playing on awesome guitar lead. I am right now looking at a Zoom G9.2tt review seen if I’m going to purchase this to help me add some effects to my guitar playing. We have a gig next month and right now we are preparing for it.

The Blue Eyed Sound

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

A sub genre of soul music known as blue eyed soul produced a number of hits during the 70s and 80s. The genre was basically soul music played by white musicians and groups and could also incorporate other styles such as country or soft rock into the songs.

One such group that made music in this style is Hall & Oates. They scored four Billboard number ones and are considered by many to be one of the greatest song-writing teams of all time.

One such song that showcases their soulful sound is their number 1 hit “I Can’t Go For That”. The songs has received a lot of airplay on radio over the years and was one of the best 80s dance songs that knocked off Olivia Newton John’s “Physical” off the top of the charts.

Despite its relatively slow pace it was popular with dancers and also topped the R&B singles chart, which was something rarely achieved by a white group at the time and even today.

Making Dynamic Microphones

Friday, August 19th, 2011

To make dynamic microphones, you need to have a certain amount of skill, though this basic guide should give you a basic overview. First, you’ll need a diaphragm which is suspended in a strong magnetic field. The diaphragm must be connected to a voicecoil, which will move when sound waves hit it. It will generate an electric current which in theory is supposed to be an exact replica of the sound wave. The element or capsule creates the directional characteristic, thus when you are using a one directional mic, the back of the mic is sealed. Constructing a mic is very similar to making a small speaker, and although you could use your new mic as a speaker, this is not recommended if you want a great quality track. Ensure that when using your mic, you don’t match the impedance of the mic to the pre-amp as it reduces the signal level and the signal to noise ratio.

An Easier Way to Organize Your Itunes Library

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

Organizing all your songs could take a huge amount of time, especially if you have an extensive song collection. Don’t worry there are itunes organizer programs that let you do it automatically, and none is more excellent that TidySongs.

The program has an intelligent database that contains more than four million songs that enables it to correct mistakes or add missing details to your song library. The database is constantly growing so you can have better results. Even if you only have a single correct detail for you songs, TidySongs will still search its database to correct or add details like the song and album title, track number, genre, and more. It will find duplicate mp3 files and delete them. It also acts as an itunes album artwork finder and adds missing album artwork. It also shows you how accurate the changes are. If the result shows lower confidence rate, like 20%, then it may not have found enough information about the song. You then manually fix the song if you want.

The program claims an 85% success rate for correctly identifying songs, but it actually depends on the contents of your music library. It could even be higher or lower. Using TidySongs is easy but it may run slower if you have thousands and thousands of songs. Usually the results will appear within seconds for popular songs, but for the rare ones, it could about 30 seconds.

TidySongs is very customizable; it always gives you the option to control processes or to have them fully automated. You’ll be able to select which information you want to be updated or skip some of the songs in your library. When you want to delete duplicates, you can also set the criteria and choose if you want to manually approve the deletion of the duplicates.

Organizing genres and consolidating genres is also easier thanks to TidySongs. If you have too many similar genres, browsing through genres may become pointless, but if you consolidate them into ones you frequently use, browsing will be easier and you’ll get to enjoy your music even more.

It is a very time consuming task to organize a vast music library. Browsing your library and going through every song for incorrect details or song duplicates is surely a task that no one enjoys. You’ll probably end up wasting your time and get frustrated. TidySongs will search for song details for you and it lets you change the information on a single tab. Plus it even provides a link to Amazon so you can confirm whether it has found the correct details or if you want to manually change the details.

TidySongs works great on both Mac and Windows operating systems, but it requires Adobe Air before it can be installed. Don’t worry Adobe Air is free to download. Try TidySongs now, it will revolutionize the way you organize your songs. I guarantee you’ll love the benefits it provides.
